It was a dark and stormy night, in the otherwise unnoteworthy year. There was lightning way up in the sky. I had fallen asleep on my chair while reading. And suddenly, I heard someone talking. I distinctly remember what the Voice told me. I knew then what I had to do. I had to save mankind. I had to create photoPod…

Okay, that’s not exactly what happened!

I usually don’t admit it, but I am a slightly self-obsessed photo fanatic! I like being in pictures, and I even go ahead and pose like a diva for the ‘beloved’ camera. Yes, Bollywood (with all its melodrama!) has had a deep impact on me, and no, I don’t believe I need therapy…just yet!

One day, while I was busy hugging the wall to pose for a super-awesome picture, my husband suggested I needed an outlet for myobsession. I agreed. (But only after I had appropriately demonstrated my despair and shock. No self-respecting wife agrees this easily!) We then threw ideas (among other things!) at each other and just when one of us was on the verge of committing homicide, we finally agreed on building a photo booth. I could now keep my ‘hobby’ and in the spirit of giving, bring joy and smiles to everyone I share photoPod with!

To bring in a sense of order and stability, I roped in Swati. She’s a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. She can hurl a cricket ball at a small moving object with deadly accuracy. We needed someone like her. Afterall, she happens to be awesome. We bring in the drama, we create memories. That’s life…

Live it. Love it! With photoPod, you also get to re-live it!!

Happy clicking!
